Introduction of PTFE Ram Tube Extruder

PTFE Ram tube extruder is specially designed for the production of PTFE (Teflon) or ultra high molecular (UHMWPE) tubing.

1. PTFE Tube Ram Extruder

PTFE Ram tube extruder is specially designed for the production of PTFE (Teflon) or UHMWPE tube. According to the size of the required tube, the machine design is also different, using different molds.

 

2. Working Principle of the Machine

PTFE powder is added to the feeding barrel, the powder is fixed and shaped under the pressure of the hydraulic press, then heated through the heating chamber for a certain period of time, sintering and molding, and finally the required tube comes out, the tube can be infinitely long, the user can cut according to the required length.

5. Machine Operating Procedure

  1. Check wiring, hoses and hydraulic oil.
  2. Install the required size mold.
  3. Use automatic feeding system feeding or manual feeding, start the machine manual operation.
  4. Start heating by setting heating curve through PLC panel.
  5. The extrusion tube is sintered through a heating chamber.
  6. Cut the tube to get the length you want.
  7. The machine can be suspended and closed through the PLC control panel.

 

6. Maintenance of machines and spare parts

  • Regularly check the height, cleanliness and temperature of the hydraulic oil.
  • Clean the unused mold and apply anti-rust oil on the surface for preservation.
  • The temperature sensor of the heating ring should be installed correctly.
